Commission a Portrait

In the hierarchy of genres, figurative and portraiture represents the highest form of art. Steeped in tradition and history, a contemporary artist has to produce meticulous artwork that is both refreshing and dynamic in order to set themselves apart from their peers.

Portrait artist Chung Shek is recognised for his refined use of chiaroscuro and sfumato to define form and presence. His use of richly saturated colour compositions and subtle transitions will bring individuals to life by capturing their detailed expression and embracing their subtle nuances.

Commissioning a portrait offers a lasting way to mark an individual, relationship or to commemorate a career. It is not only a special gift and personal, but a memorable moment that endures the passage of time. A commissioned portrait by Shek is one that is carefully tailored for you. The finished painting is a captivating portrait of you.
